FPG Insurance fetes top brokers, welcomes new leadership

FPG Insurance, the major player in the general insurance industry, recognized its top brokers for 2019 at the annual Brokers’ Night held recently at the Fairmont Hotel in Makati City. AON Insurance & Reinsurance Brokers Philippines, Inc., one of the leading risk insurance advisors in the world and in the Philippines, aced the list as the Top Broker for gross premiums written for 2019.



Meanwhile, BDO Insurance Brokers, Inc. (BDOI), an SM Group member and BDO subsidiary, and Marsh Philippines, Inc., a global brokerage leader and among the two of the largest in the country, bagged second and third spots, respectively. Other awardees who made the list and recognized were Lacson & Lacson Insurance Brokers, Inc., Chinabank Insurance Brokers, Inc., Unicon Insurance Brokers Corporation, Gotuaco del Rosario Insurance Brokers, Inc., Bonifacio Insurance Broker Corporation, Trinity Insurance Brokers, Inc., Eastwest Insurance Brokerage, Inc., Philpacific Insurance Brokers and Managers, Howden Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers Philippines, Inc., and K&A Insurance Brokers, Inc.

The brokers and agents present also witnessed the ceremonial change in leadership as outgoing president Ramon Yap Dimacali passes on the baton to Gigi Pio de Roda as FPG Insurance’s new chief executive. Dimacali will be retiring from the CEO position after 18 years with the Group.

Our clients should be excited about what lies ahead,” said FPG Insurance President and CEO Gigi Pio de Roda.

Gigi officially started her appointment last January 6, 2020 coming from her previous role as Philam Life/AIA’s Chief Operations Officer (COO).

Essilor and GMA Kapuso Foundation provide 500 prescription glasses

In its commitment to provide better visual health for all, Essilor, the world leader for ophthalmic optics, reached out to Filipinos in need of vision correction at the annual Kapuso 20-20 Eye Project.
