Bake to Your Heart’s Content at The Maya Kitchen

           Do you love to bake? Do you want to learn how to bake? The Maya Kitchen has just the right course for you.

            On February 16-19, Tuesday to Friday9am-2pm, learn Basic Baking techniques applicable to small and commercial scale production of recipes and formulations of quick breads, pies, cookies, cakes and other bread varieties. This certificate course costs P7,000.

            Those who love cupcakes should try Cupcake Baking and Decorating on February 20Saturday9am-1pm. The class fee is P1,500 with hands-on and group workshops.

            Healthy Breads teach you how to bake Whole Wheat Sesame Bread, Kalabasa Loaf, Malunggay Loaf, Sourdough Bread and Focaccia. The course is on February 27Saturday9am-1pm. Fee is P1,499.



If cooking is what you love, Basic Culinary is on February 9-12, Tuesday-Friday9am-3pm and February 23, 24 and 26, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday9am-4pm. The course includes Cooking Fundamentals and international Standard Techniques of meal preparation from soup, salad, pasta, main courses to desserts for Home and Institutional Scale Kitchens. This certificate course includes workshops for a fee of P8,000.

Essilor and GMA Kapuso Foundation provide 500 prescription glasses

In its commitment to provide better visual health for all, Essilor, the world leader for ophthalmic optics, reached out to Filipinos in need of vision correction at the annual Kapuso 20-20 Eye Project. Together with GMA Kapuso Foundation, Essilor provided 500 pairs of prescription glasses to underprivileged Filipinos at the GMA Kapuso Foundation booth.
