beep™ Reloading Now Available via BPI Online and BPI Mobile App

You can now reload beep™ cards straight from your BPI account as AF Payments Inc. announced that a reloading option is now available via BPI Online and the BPI Mobile app even without pre-enrolling your beep™ accounts.

To do this, simply access BPI Online or download and update your BPI Mobile app and log in to your account. Under the Payments/Load option, choose “Load E-Wallet” then “BEEP.” Input the 16-digit number found at the back of your beep™ card under Reference Number and enter the Load amount. Once the transaction is successfully completed, the cardholder may proceed to any beep™ e-load station at LRT1 stations, select bus terminals, and other locations to update the card balance. A standard service fee of Php10 will be charged for every beep™ loading transaction regardless of amount.
“Convenience is the key benefit we emphasize for beep™. As Filipinos become more mobile and increasingly go cashless, we see more opportunities to make our services more accessible to our cardholders. Using the BPI Mobile app or BPI Online, you can now top up your beep™ card anytime, anywhere,” said Agnes Padilla, Marketing Head of AF Payments Inc.
The BPI Mobile app complements customers’ banking experience with functions available online and on demand 24/7. This includes account balance viewing, bills payment, funds transfer to any BPI account with option to use QR codes, and Touch ID or Face ID for instant login. It is available for download on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Note that you must have a registered BPI account online to use the app.

beep™ is a tap-and-go payment card used in all three elevated railways and select PUVs, tollways, and retail partners. It is reloadable and valid for four years. More information about beep™ is available at its website and official social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Scientific fact: Women are more attracted to men with facial hair

Science says it. Men with facial hair are more attractive. A study in the 70s and two more recent ones conducted by Neave and Shields in 2008 and Dixson and Brooks in 2013 all came up with the same conclusion: Most women find men with a stubble or a five-o’clock shadow very, very attractive.   Although the women’s perception of male attractiveness changed according to the amount and length of men’s facial hair, most women in the study found men with a moderate amount of facial hair to be the most attractive. Some women did prefer men with no facial hair, but to the majority, men with no facial hair were not very attractive and seemed the least likely romantic partners. Women perceived full bearded men to be aggressive, more mature and a bit too much to handle.
