Aga Muhlach is one of the country’s most memorable actors—he has graced the silver and TV screens as a teenage matinee idol to a serious performer—and one of the most sought-after endorsers during his heyday. He has been one of the most popular endorsers of Filipino fast-food titan Jollibee for over 25 years and churned out TV commercials for the brand that are now permanently part of Pinoy pop culture.

Aga has always been a vital member of the Jollibee family, all throughout his transformation as one of the country’s hottest bachelors to upstanding family man. In fact, his twins Atasha and Andres have even starred in several Jollibee commercials as young children!

This 2018, as Jollibee celebrates its 40th anniversary, Aga returns to the Jollibee family with a new commercial for Jollibee Chickenjoy. In this latest ad, the whole Muhlach family—Aga, Charlene, and the now-teenage Atasha and Andres—head over to Jollibee for a time-honored family tradition: bonding over their favorite crispylicious, juicylicious, Chickenjoy. Here we see candid and relatable moments—playful teasing, inside jokes, and even re-enactments of the iconic “Isa pa! Isa pa! Isa pang Chickenjoy!” ad—that all families, even celebrity ones like the Muhlachs, have enjoyed while sharing their favorite meal.

There are also several flashbacks of past Chickenjoy ads starring Aga and his family, which will surely serve a hefty amount of nostalgia for those who grew up seeing these commercials. We also get a generous serving of mouthwatering Chickenjoy shots, the adorable Muhlach twins as young kids, and numerous frames of Aga’s signature dimpled smile as he bites into his favorite fried chicken!

“More than the heartwarming story of Aga’s transformation over the years with the Jollibee family, this new TV commercial emphasizes how the Chickenjoy remains to be a centerpiece in Filipino family bonding time over the years,” said Cathleen Capati, Jollibee Marketing Director for the Flagship Category.  “Aga’s love for the Chickenjoy is something that he passed on and continues to share with his family, like many generations of Filipino parents.”

This new TVC is a milestone for Atasha and Andres, who are also returning to the Jollibee family with their parents.

“2018 is truly a special year for Chickenjoy and the Jollibee family as we welcome back Atasha and Andres, who represent this generation of children who have grown up in a family that truly loves Jollibee,” Capati added. “As we celebrate Jollibee’s 40th anniversary, we are cooking up more surprises and gathering more stories that highlight how Jollibee has always been part of Filipino life.”

Celebrate your family bonding time like the Muhlachs with the one and only crispylicious, juicylicious, and gravylicious Chickenjoy, available for dine-in, take-out, delivery, and drive-thru in all Jollibee stores nationwide.

Scientific fact: Women are more attracted to men with facial hair

Science says it. Men with facial hair are more attractive. A study in the 70s and two more recent ones conducted by Neave and Shields in 2008 and Dixson and Brooks in 2013 all came up with the same conclusion: Most women find men with a stubble or a five-o’clock shadow very, very attractive.   Although the women’s perception of male attractiveness changed according to the amount and length of men’s facial hair, most women in the study found men with a moderate amount of facial hair to be the most attractive. Some women did prefer men with no facial hair, but to the majority, men with no facial hair were not very attractive and seemed the least likely romantic partners. Women perceived full bearded men to be aggressive, more mature and a bit too much to handle.
