NTC Libreng Text at Tawag Services in Cagayan de Oro City


Due to the armed conflict in Marawi City, the Humanitarian Emergency Assistance and Response Team of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao has reported that more than 180,000 have evacuated the city. Most of them are still staying in evacuation centers.

The declaration of President Rodrigo Duterte last 17 October 2017 that Marawi City has been liberated from terrorist influence and the announcement of Department of National Defense (DND) Secretary Delfin Lorenzana last 23 October 2017 that combat operation in the City had been terminated, marked the beginning of the rehabilitation of Marawi City.



In the interest of service and in order to assist the evacuees and victims, the NTC Regional Office in Cagayan de Oro City is hereby directed to offer "Libreng Text at Tawag Services" in the evacuation centers for a period of seven (7) calendar days starting 3 I Octobe r 2017 .

Director Teodoro D. Buenavista, Jr. of NTC Region X is tasked to monitor and oversee the implementation of this Office Order. All expenses for the implementation shall be charged to the funds of the NTC Region X.
